Spot the attachment: Before getting into hows, ask yourself why and what. Ask yourself ‘What is the thing you feel attached to?’. Technology/Expectations/Social media/People.

Then ask yourself ‘Why are you being attached to it?’. Is it because you feel a sense of loneliness, boredom, laziness, or fear of being left out?

 

Pause before reacting: When you are facing a challenging situation, take a moment to breathe and reflect. When you are again considering going on to your old habits, take a moment of consideration. 

Consider all the things going around you and the people around you. This pause allows you to respond thoughtfully instead of reacting impulsively.
